FAQs
What is the tuition fee for Computer Science students in 2025/2026 at GOUNI?
For the 2025/2026 academic session, Computer Science students in 100-Level will pay ₦1,220,000, while those in 200- and 300-Level will pay ₦1,120,000. For 400-Level, the tuition is ₦1,200,000.
Are there extra fees beyond the tuition for Computer Science students?
Yes. In addition to tuition, Computer Science students must also pay fees such as the Upsilon Fee, a specialized “Gotechpreneurship” fee (approx. ₦80,000) specific to Computer Science, and other general fees (ICT/online registration, library, medical, etc.).
Can students pay the tuition in instalments or must it be paid all at once?
The university allows the tuition to be paid in two instalments. The usual breakdown is 60% of the tuition in the first semester, and the remaining 40% within three months (i.e., during the second semester). However, all other fees (non-tuition fees) are expected to be paid in full before registration.
Where and how should fees be paid and are there deadlines?
Fees are to be paid through the university’s official online payment portal. Students need to ensure they pay tuition (or the first instalment) before or at registration, and non-tuition fees must be cleared before registration commences. It’s important to check deadlines announced by the school to avoid penalties or registration delays.
