For 100-level Law students, the tuition fee is ₦1,700,000. This drops to ₦1,300,000 for 200 level, and from 300 up to 500 level the tuition is ₦1,165,000 per session.
Are there additional faculty or departmental fees for Law students?
Yes. Law students must also pay a faculty fee of ₦10,000 and a departmental (or LAWSA/department) fee of ₦5,000 in addition to the tuition charge.
What “other fees” should Law students expect beyond tuition and faculty/department fees?
Apart from tuition and faculty/department fees, there are mandatory fees that most students pay. How and when must the fees be paid for Law students?
The tuition fee for a session is payable in two parts: 60% must be paid in the first semester, with the remaining 40% due within three months after resumption. All other fees (acceptance, matriculation, departmental, faculty, etc.) must be paid in full before course registration. Payment is via the university’s online payment system (ERP).
