Additionally, for the Higher National Diploma (HND) level, the part‑time programmes include HND in Accountancy, HND in Public Administration, and HND in Computer Science.
What is the duration of the part‑time courses at CEAP?
The part‑time ND/Diploma programmes are scheduled over 2½ years (five semesters) for the ND part‑time mode. The part‑time HND programmes also follow a longer schedule than full‑time, though exact semester count may vary.
What are the admission requirements for the part‑time programmes?
For the part‑time ND/Diploma programmes, applicants must have at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/WAEC/NECO/NABTEB (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics, and relevant subject passes for their chosen course. Results from no more than two sittings are accepted.
For part‑time HND admission, applicants must have a relevant National Diploma (ND) with at least a lower credit and evidence of one‑year post‑ND Industrial Training (SIWES) in the relevant discipline.
How do part‑time courses differ from full‑time courses at CEAP?
Part‑time courses at CEAP are structured to accommodate working students or those with other commitments. They may be conducted on weekdays or weekends and span a longer period (e.g., 2½ years for part‑time ND programmes) compared with the standard full‑time duration (2 years for ND).
Furthermore, the part‑time mode often includes fewer or different scheduling of sessions, allowing flexibility. Entry requirements remain similar but the delivery format is different to suit non‑traditional students.
