Uniabuja Registration Process For Newly Admitted Students
FAQs
What is the first step in the Uniabuja registration process for newly admitted students?
The first step is to confirm your admission status on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal and the University of Abuja admission portal. After confirmation, you are required to pay the acceptance fee as proof that you have accepted the admission offer.
What documents are required for Uniabuja registration?
Newly admitted students are expected to provide their JAMB admission letter, original O’level results, birth certificate or age declaration, local government identification letter, payment receipts for acceptance and school fees, and recent passport photographs. These documents must be presented during physical screening and online registration.
How do students pay the acceptance and school fees?
Payments are made online through the official Uniabuja portal using a valid debit card. After logging in with your JAMB registration number, you can generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR), proceed to make payment, and print the receipt which will be needed for clearance.
What happens after completing the registration process?
Once registration is completed, students are officially recognized as bonafide students of the University of Abuja. They will be assigned matriculation numbers, be able to access the university’s student portal, register for courses, and eventually participate in the matriculation ceremony.
